Elizabeth J. Serres

Elizabeth’s practice concentrates on trust and estate litigation. Elizabeth also has experience administering trusts and handling the probate of estates, as well as litigating employment, real estate, and business disputes.

After earning a B.A. in both English Literature and Spanish Language from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Elizabeth received her J.D. from Santa Clara University, School of Law. While in law school, Elizabeth was a Research Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review. Elizabeth also worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, where she served as an extern in the Civil Litigation department.

Elizabeth started her legal career in 2012 with Gaw Van Male, LLP in Napa, California, where she handled various litigation matters involving trusts and estates, labor and employment, business, and real estate. She is a past President of the Napa County Women Lawyers and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Glen Ellen, and now resides in the neighboring town of Sonoma with her husband and their brood of four children.
