Amanda focuses her practice on trust and estate litigation, in addition to the administration of trusts and handling the probate of estates.
After earning a B.A. in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, Amanda began exploring the field of law as a legal assistant in the practice areas of mass torts and consumer class actions. Helping plaintiffs in those matters inspired her to go to law school.
Amanda earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. During her time there, she earned High Honors in various classes, a certificate of achievement in Consumer Law and Economic Justice, and Pro Bono Honors for her work with Housing & Economic Rights Advocates and the Wage Justice Clinic.
After graduating law school, Amanda joined Mastagni Holstedt, APC in Sacramento, California, where she handled litigation of individual and class action labor and employment matters, with a concentration in public safety occupations. Writing is her particular passion, and she has drafted multiple appellate court briefs, as well as an amicus brief that was filed in the U.S. Supreme Court.
Amanda spent her childhood in the Middle East and Africa. After graduating high school, she moved to Marin County and has made it her home for the past 20 years. Although work took her to Sacramento for some time, she is excited to be back in Marin and to become involved in the local legal community. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys playing tennis and golf, baking, and exploring new trails with her dog.
